ISOFOTON DOUBLES PRODUCT GUARANTEE UP TO TEN YEARS

Isofotón S.A., a leading Spanish manufacturer of solar cells and modules, extends its product guarantee for solar modules from five to ten years. This long-term-guarantee is valid for all modules of the IS and ISF series, which has been delivered from 1st January 2010. "With this action we pass the trust we have in our products to our clients. This will increase the planning reliability for plant operators and investors." Livinio Stuyck, sales manager of Isofotón, states.

"Measurements of solar yields, mechanical and aging tests, as well as after-sales statistics, proof the long life cycle and the efficiency of our modules", says Stuyck. In addition to the product guarantee, Isofotón offers a performance guarantee of 25 years. It ensures that modules will operate for ten years with at least 90% of power output, 20 years with 83% of power output minimum and with 80% for 25 years.

Isofotón produces cells and modules that design and control the production process from start to finish achieving maximum quality. The Production Centre of Isofotón is inspected periodically by the most prestigious laboratories (TÜV, UL, LCIE), to verify the quality of the production process and of materials used.

The solar simulators are certified by TÜV Rheinland annually, obtaining the highest grading (AAA), which guarantees the accurate, precise and correct measurement of the module.

All modules are exclusively made in Spain achieving the highest quality standards. Isofoton was founded in 1981 and thus has a three decade wealth of experience in the development and production of solar cells and modules.
