Our History

Isofoton was established in Málaga, Spain in 1981 to initiate the industrial manufacture of photovoltaic cells from silicon wafers, a project that was led by Professor Antonio Luque (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid).

In 1985, we consolidated our Solar Energy activities, by including the technology for manufacturing thermal collectors.

Since then, we have offered the best Photovoltaic - production of electricity - and Thermal – hot water production- solutions based on Solar Energy.

The Bergé Group acquired Isofoton in 1997, which boosted our commercial and production activities. Isofoton continues to be active in both fields.
